i've recently taken to referring to myself as an artist. though not entirely sure where this new ego was conceived, i do have a few ideas. perhaps artist is the new rock star, or president or architect. george costanza wanted to be an architect. 8 year olds think it'd be cool to be el presidente. sixteen year olds revel in the idea of rocking out in front of 10,000 screaming sexpots. but i think the artist is the new architect. the irony is i actually am an architect. but today i am scott the artist. and my art is my gift to the world.
